Due to the fact that Edgar Cayce was an American, he left many predictions concerning the United States. According to the Sleeping Prophet, in the future, the map of America will become unrecognizable: many cities of the country will disappear from the face of the Earth. And this will happen for reasons that people are unable to eliminate: they simply will not have time.

Prophecies for the homeland

Edgar Cayce received the Sleeping Prophet nickname from a biographer because Cayce made his predictions while in a trance. He foresaw the First and Second World Wars, the victory of the USSR, the fall of Communism, the foundation of Israel as a sovereign country, the independence of India and invention of laser. However, Casey was born, raised, and died in the United States, so there is not the slightest hint of surprise that many of his prophecies were somehow related to the United States. Some specialists assure that Casey predicted the crash on the stock exchange in 1929 and the subsequent economic recovery 4 years later. The assassination of John F. Kennedy was also predicted by the Sleeping Prophet.

In general, as far as the American government is concerned, Edgar Cayce especially distinguished himself. Thus, a Russian economist Valentin Katasonov in his book “Global world of Finance. From crisis to chaos” mentions Casyce's prediction that the last President of the United States will be the one who happens to be the 44th President of the country.

For a long time, it was believed that Casey was referring to Barack Obama. At least, it is Obama who is officially the 44th leader of the United States. However, some think that the visionary was still talking about Donald Trump because in the American history, it is recorded that one person was listed as the 22nd and 24th President of the United States. That person was Grover Cleveland. Therefore, based on the total number of presidents of the country, Trump is really the 44th President.

Disappeared territories of the United States

Meanwhile, according to E. Cayce, the United States will not only lose its President: the map of the country will change beyond recognition. According to Casey's forecasts, experts made a map of the United States of the XXI century, which did not contain several major cities. New Orleans was not on the map. In 2005, the Sleeping Prophet’s prediction came true. Back then, New Orleans was hit by Katrina, the worst hurricane in American history. About 2 thousand people died, and almost 80% of the territory of the city was under water. It happened just like Cayce said – A disaster may happen very quickly. The Humanity will probably not be given a single day to escape.

However, these words can be referred to many disasters that he predicted. After all, in addition to New Orleans, according to the seer, Los Angeles and San Francisco should be practically destroyed in the future, and New York will be completely wiped off the face of the Earth. Some researchers are sure that Cayce was wrong altogether, since the listed cities are still standing, while others believe that the ordeals are still ahead. V. A. Demus in the publication “The phenomenon of the prophetic gift” writes that Edgar Cayce also predicted the disappearance of the Southern parts of Carolina, Georgia and California.

The whole world prophesies

According to Edgar Cayce's predictions, all the listed cities and territories of the United States will sink into oblivion due to natural disasters. Casey associated these disasters with the shift of the Earth's axis and the change of poles. It is clear that such global changes should affect not only the United States, but also other countries of the world. According to the Sleeping Prophet, in the future, areas with a cold or mild subtropical climate will become tropical. There will be ferns growing there. Open waters will appear in the Northern regions of Greenland. There will be new lands in the Caribbean. Most of Japan will disappear into the water, and Europe will be radically transformed.

The theory of the pole shift, according to which our planet is expected to have ever increasing rate of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and floods, really has some ground. Moreover, the onset of a long winter around the Earth could be the result of a shift in the poles, aggravated by a change in the angle of inclination of the axis of rotation of the planet. Therefore, may scientists seem to echo calamity prophesies. Yet, another question is when exactly could the described events take place?
