Uruguayan president restarted the economy

The president of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, announced the restart of work in offices, claiming that the disease is under control.

The decision was announced after reviewing the results of more than 430 random COVID-19 tests among people who work in construction sector across the country. They resumed the activity on April 13 after three weeks of the lockdown. There have been no new positive test of COVID-19 identified.

To sum up, the situation in the country is becoming better. Nowadays Uruguay has reported 657 cases of the COVID-19, 17 dead and 447 people have already recovered.
